Trump: Gag order doesn't prevent me from testifying

EPA-EFE/DOUG MILLS

Ex-United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that the gag order he was given as part of the hush money trial will not stop him from testifying but does stop him from responding to people when they "say things about me."

Trump once again called the gag order "unconstitutional" and announced plans to challenge it via a lawsuit. He insisted that, as someone running for president and leading in the polls, he "should be able to respond" when people talk about him.

The comments contradict Trump's earlier claims that he is "not allowed to testify" in the hush money case because he is under a gag order.
