Former United States President Donald Trump said that he is "fine" after apparent gunshots rang through the crowd during his rally in Pennsylvania, with reports coming in of Trump being injured in the incident.
"President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow," Trump's spokesman Steven Cheung stated. Trump was seen bleeding from his right ear as he was escorted to safety by the Secret Service.
Furthermore, Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi assured that Trump is "safe," adding that the Secret Service has "implemented protective measures." Guglielmi also announced that "This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available."
