United States President Donald Trump announced on Monday during a press conference that Washington is "on time" with the tariff schedule.
"It seems like that is moving very rapidly. We've been mistreated very badly by many countries, not just Canada and Mexico. We've been taken advantage of. We've been led by, in some cases, fools," he insisted.
Trump didn't blame other countries but rather the American leadership itself for such a situation. "If somebody charges us we charge them," he reiterated, adding that his actions will lead to the US being "extremely liquid and rich again."
