United States President Donald Trump announced on Saturday on his Twitter account that he will make his final decision on the Paris accord next week.

The statement comes following reports that Group of Seven leaders intensified their pressure on Trump to keep the US in the Paris climate agreement during their summit in Taormina, Sicily.

The US president has repeatedly criticized the agreement, which was signed in 2016 by 195 countries, claiming that man-made climate change is a "hoax" and threatening to take the country out of the accord.
