Trump's Mar-a-Lago home raided by FBI

Former United States President Donald Trump confirmed in a statement that his home in Palm Beach, Florida, has been raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents.

"Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States," Trump wrote, adding that the "unannounced raid" of his property was "not necessary or appropriate." Trump underlined that this is "prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats," who do not want to see him run for President in the 2024 elections.

He further noted that the US has reached the level of corruption "not seen before," as such events only happen in "broken, Third World Countries." Trump concluded by saying that an end needs to be put on the "lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt" of him and his party.
