Trump projected to win primaries in Tennessee, Alabama

In a pivotal turn of events on Super Tuesday, former United States President Donald Trump secured victories in the GOP primaries in Alabama and Tennessee, clinching a total of 108 delegates out of the 865 at stake.

Trump's strategic gains include 50 delegates from Alabama and 58 from Tennessee, adding to his earlier triumphs in Virginia, North Carolina, Maine, Massachusetts and Oklahoma, where he amassed additional delegates.

With a cumulative count of 276 delegates before Super Tuesday, Trump now stands close to 400.
