The headline rate of inflation for goods coming out of factories in the United Kingdom stood at a negative 0.8% in the twelve months to October, the country's Office for National Statistics (ONS) said on Wednesday. The figure marks a fall from September's revised annual decline of 0.6% in output prices.
The largest downward contribution to annual output inflation came from refined petroleum products. On a monthly basis, the output prices were flat.
Meanwhile, the producer input prices slid 2.3% in the year to October, but rose 0.1% on a monthly basis.
