United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense stated on Monday in its latest intelligence report that the Russian army has "almost certainly" been using the "Su-57 FELON," the most advanced fifth-generation supersonic combat jets, since June 2022 in its offensive against Ukraine.
The ministry shared that the missions have mostly been carried out from Russian territory, with the jets "launching long range air-to-surface or air-to-air missiles into Ukraine."
The official body explained that Moscow is "prioritising avoiding the reputational damage, reduced export prospects, and the compromise of sensitive technology which would come from any loss of FELON over Ukraine."
