The United Kingdom's total goods and services trade deficit declined by £0.9 billion to reach £10.1 billion in the three months to October, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported on Friday.
Imports in the reported quarter increased by 5.8% or £2.6 billion compared to the previous trimester, while the exports dropped by 0.4% or £0.1 billion.
The trade in goods deficit decreased by £1.8 billion to £51.4 billion in the reported three-month period, while the trade in services surplus slipped by £1 billion compared to the previous quarter to stand at £41.3 billion.
