United Kingdom Foreign Office issued a warning on Wednesday to its citizens to avoid all but essential travel to Lebanon, citing a "potential to deteriorate quickly and with no warning" situation in the country.
"You are advised against all travel to the whole of Lebanon. If you are currently in Lebanon, we encourage you to leave now while commercial options remain available," the office warns. The caution comes as tensions escalated in the region with Israel targeting Hezbollah and its "terrorist targets" within the country.
Earlier today, the United States State Department also advised its nationals against traveling to Lebanon.
