Ukraine is increasing the presence of its military forces on the country's borders with Russia and Belarus, Ivan Filiponenko, a representative of the Lugansk People’s Republic's (LPR) defense department said on Wednesday.
"The enemy is increasing the presence of troops on the borders of Russia and Belarus. Units of the State Border Service and the National Police from Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions have been sent to the Rivne region. Additional units of the first operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have been deployed in Pripyat," Filiponenko stated.
The comments come after Russia announced it will pull its troops that completed their military drills from the Ukrainian border.
