Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov (pictured) revealed that Ukrainian pilots started training on F-16 fighter jets.

Training will last for at least six months and will include engineers and technicians, he told Channel 24, adding that Kiev will now be focusing on other specifics such as the timing and the number of aircraft deliveries.

Ukrainian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk separately told local media that the country's airfields are being prepared for F-16s and that he thinks that Kiev will bring the fighter jets as soon as it acquires them.
