UK's Prince Philip dies at age 99

His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the husband of United Kingdom's Queen Elizabeth II, has passed away at Windsor Castle on Friday.

Prince Philip was admitted to King Edward VII's hospital in central London on February 16 after feeling unwell and was discharged on March 16 "following treatment for an infection and a successful procedure for a pre-existing condition".

Philip was born into the Greek and Danish royal families on June 10, 1921. He married the future Queen Elizabeth on November 20, 1947.
