The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) investigation showed that Lebanon-based Hezbollah was responsible for Saturday's rocket attack on the Golan Heights which killed 12 people, Sky News Arabia reported on Friday, citing anonymous sources.
Hezbollah has continuously denied that it was behind the strike, claiming that the incident was the result of an Iron Dome interceptor missile failure. The militant group's leader Hassan Nasrallah ensured that Hezbollah would have admitted if it was responsible for the attack.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a retaliatory strike on Beirut, targeting Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr, allegedly responsible for the Golan Heights deadly attack.
