UN rejects Israeli request to move peacekeepers in Lebanon

UN peacekeepers will remain in all their positions in Lebanon, despite calls from Israel to move due to increasing clashes with Hezbollah.

UN peacekeeping chief Jean-Pierre Lacroix confirmed the decision, emphasizing that it "still remains" in place.

This comes after five peacekeepers were injured last week in several incidents near the Blue Line.
