United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Friday, at the request of Russia, after the country accused the United States of developing biological and chemical weapons with Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied Kiev's involvement in producing such weapons, describing the claims as an "obvious ploy" by Moscow meant to justify its military actions. He pointed to the possibility that Russia could be preparing to use the weapons itself.
