United Nations General Assembly adopted on Monday the Ukraine anniversary resolution drafted by Ukraine itself, alongside Europeans.

While 93 countries voted in favor of the resolution, 18 countries were against it, with the United States and Russia being in the latter group. Moments later, a US resolution on the same matter was also approved, however, with some European amendments.

The US resolution was amended to support Kiev's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Furthermore, the "the Russian Federation-Ukraine conflict" phrase, which was a part of the original US resolution, was reformulated to "the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation."
