The United States National Security Council (NSC) expressed concern over the killing of five aid workers from World Central Kitchen in Gaza, in an Israeli airstrike.
NSC spokesperson Adrienne Watson urged Israel to promptly investigate the incident, emphasizing the necessity to safeguard humanitarian aid workers who provide essential assistance in crisis-stricken areas.
"Humanitarian aid workers must be protected as they deliver aid that is desperately needed," Watson stated.
