US: Houthis fired anti-ship ballistic missile in Gulf of Aden

The United States Central Command said on Thursday that Iranian-backed Houthis launched an anti-ship ballistic missile from the Houthi-controlled regions in Yemen into the international shipping lanes in the Gulf of Aden in the night between January 10 and January 11.

The missile launched marked the 27th attack on international shipping by Yemen's Houthi rebel group since November 19. According to the Command, there was no registered damage from the attack and no casualties have been reported.
