Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that his country and the United States have differences in opinion concerning what should happen after the war in Gaza ends.

In a statement, the Israeli prime minister insisted that the Gaza Strip "will be neither Hamas-stan nor 'Fatah-stan'," with the latter referring to Palestinian National Authority (PNA) President Mahmoud Abbas.

Apart from this disagreement on who should be running the enclave, Netanyahu shared that he believes Washington is fully supporting Israel's operations on the ground, as well as its goal to destroy Hamas.
