Equities in the United States traded higher in the premarket on Friday in anticipation of the reports on the country's durable goods orders and the services and manufacturing sectors. Earlier, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen provided some security for the market, saying the department will take "additional actions" to protect depositors at banks "if warranted."
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 stood flat at 4:25 am ET. A minute later, the Nasdaq 100 went up by 0.18%.
The euro lost 0.45% to the dollar at 4:27 am ET to sell for $1.07832.
