The average price of gasoline in the United States fell below $4 for the first time since March, data from the American Automobile Association showed on Thursday.
According to the association price as of today for regular gas decreased 0.49% to $3.990 compared with yesterday's price and 15% lower than a month ago when it was at $4.678.
The figure confirms the data published yesterday by the Labor Statistics Bureau regarding the decline in inflation caused by a drop in gasoline and energy prices, which fell by 7.7% and 4.6% in July, respectively.
