American-British fighter planes conducted two airstrikes in the Al-Jabanah area of Hodeidah, western Yemen, on Friday, as per a report from the Yemeni TV channel Al-Masirah.
"US and British aircraft carried out two strikes on the Al-Jaban area in the city of Hodeidah," the channel said.
According to Houthi spokesperson Mohammed Abdulsalam, the militia has stated that they have no plans to escalate their attacks on ships in the Red Sea. This comes after they claimed responsibility for an attack on the Chem Ranger, a ship owned by the United States, in the Gulf of Aden.
