Verstappen wins F1 world championship

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won on Sunday the Formula One world championship.

Verstappen placed first in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, passing the second-placed Lewis Hamilton in the final lap. Carlos Sainz from Ferrari came in third place.

This marks Verstappen's first world championship, while Hamilton missed out on his record-breaking eight title.
