Spain's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in the country rose by 99,671 to a total of 6,032,297. The figure representing new daily cases reached a single-day record.
The coronavirus death toll now stands at 89,253 in the country, after increasing by 114 since the previous update.
