White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre (pictured) confirmed Friday a new arms aid package for Ukraine worth around $3.8 billion, the largest since the beginning of the war.
During her press briefing, the secretary added that the Department of Defense will soon give more information about the topic. However, she mentioned that the new assistance package "is expected to include the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles," self-propelled howitzers, as well as surface-to-air missiles, anti-vehicle landmines, ammunition, and other items.
Included in the total amount are $225 million in foreign military funding for Ukraine and $682 million for regional partners and allies on NATO's eastern flank to boost and supplement donations of military equipment.
