Deputy press secretary Raj Shah said on Thursday the White House is "fully confident" the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh bill be confirmed by the Senate, after reviewing the report on allegations against Judge Kavanaugh compiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Shah also confirmed to Bloomberg the report was sent to Senators, who are due to vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation over the weekend.
Earlier in the day, The Wall Street Journal reported that the White House found no corroborating evidence in the FBI report to support sexual assault accusations from Christine Blasey Ford against Kavanaugh.
