The United States expressed concern over Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's allegations linking the Indian government to the murder of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia, White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson announced in a statement on Tuesday.

She emphasized the importance of Canada's investigation and the need to bring the perpetrators to justice. "We are deeply concerned about the allegations," Watson said.

Trudeau's claim of "credible allegations" of a potential link between Indian government agents and the murder was met with a strong denial by the Indian side, which described the accusations as "absurd."
