Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that the implementation of the hostage release agreement will be "complicated" in the upcoming days, stressing that "nothing is over until it's over."
"We must be prepared for this," Hagari highlighted, adding that Israel is closely monitoring all Hamas officials in Gaza who might attempt to flee the Strip during the four-day truce. According to Hagari, the Israeli army will continue preparations for the next phases of war during the ceasefire period.
Hamas released a total of 24 hostages on Friday, including 13 Israeli citizens.
