Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday he discussed his country's conflict with Russia with his American counterpart Joe Biden and noted the two agreed to "enhance sanctions" against Moscow.
"Continued constant dialogue with @POTUS. Assessed Russian war crimes. Discussed additional package of defensive and possible macro-financial aid. Agreed to enhance sanctions," Zelensky tweeted.
Earlier in the day, reports emerged that Washington is planning to increase its intelligence sharing with Kiev and send more weapons to Ukraine to help it battle Russian forces.
