Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that the peace summit in Switzerland was a "real success," pointing out that it involved 101 countries and organizations. "I am grateful that the leaders have shown that they are not just principled, but that they are really leaders of independent countries with their own independent opinion," he said.

However, several key states, including India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil, did not endorse the joint communique issued at the end of the summit. The communique's signatories reaffirmed their commitment to "refraining from the threat or use of force" against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, including Ukraine, "within their internationally recognized borders, including territorial waters, and the resolution of disputes through peaceful means as principles of international law," among other points.
