Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday criticized the Russian presidential election, calling Putin's victory illegitimate.

"There is no legitimacy in this imitation of elections, and there cannot be. This person should be on trial in The Hague. That's what we have to ensure," Zelensky said in a video address.

According to the latest official poll, Putin is set to win the presidential election with a staggering 87% of the votes, surpassing his 2018 triumph.
