Zelensky to dismiss nation's defense minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his intention to replace the country's defense minister, Oleksii Reznikov.

This decision will be presented for consideration by Ukraine's parliament in the upcoming week.

Rustem Umerov, currently serving as the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, has been nominated by the president as the proposed replacement for the role of defense minister.
