Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the Doha Forum through a video call, urged energy producers to raise output in order to disenable Russia to use its energy exports as a negotiating tactic.
"Responsible states like Qatar as a reliable exporter of energy, I ask you to increase the output of energy," asserted Zelensky, adding that these sources should not be used by Russia or any other country as "blackmail."
Zelensky further stated that "the Russian invasion leads to depriving the countries of the world of food, and we must continue to pressure [Russia] with sanctions in order to ensure that it does not destroy the world." He once again called for stronger support for his country and more effort to restore international stability and security.
