China 'feeds false information' to US media - Navarro

United States President Donald Trump's trade adviser Peter Navarro said on Friday, during an interview with Fox Business, that the Chinese government is "feeding" the media in the US with false information. His remarks come shortly after he stated that the US would leave the trade talks unless China delivers on its commitments agreed upon during the meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the G20 summit.

President Donald Trump pointed out earlier that China wants to reach a trade agreement with Washington "soon." The president also said that China wants a comprehensive deal because the trade war with the US is hurting its economy.

Meanwhile, The Chinese Ministry of Finance announced earlier today that it plans to lift retaliatory tariffs on US car imports. The previously imposed 40% tariff increase will drop to 15% starting January 1, 2019 and will last for three months.
