Courts evacuated in 4 German towns over bomb threat

Courthouses in Erfurt, Magdeburg, Wiesbaden and Potsdam were evacuated on Friday over a bomb threat, according to local media. The threats are said to have been sent by email.

In Wiesbaden, Mainzer Strasse is closed in both directions, police said. Meanwhile, in Potsdam, service dogs are being used to search the regional court, according to the Brandenburg police Twitter feed.

It remains unclear whether the courthouses received the same email. Previously, during the night, a threat was received at the regional court in Kiel.
