EIA: US crude oil inventories down 7.3M barrels

United States crude oil inventories declined 7.3 million barrels to 443.2 million barrels for the week ending November 16, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Thursday.

Crude oil refinery inputs averaged 17.5 million barrels per day during the same week, which is 66,000 barrels less than the previous week's average. Refineries operated at 95.5% of their capacity. Meanwhile, gasoline production was lower compared to the previous week, averaging 9.7 million barrels per day.

Crude oil imports averaged 7.2 million barrels per day last week, down by 943,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week. Total commercial petroleum inventories decreased by 8.3 million barrels.
