Europe higher in premarket with Brexit, data in focus

European stocks were higher in Friday's premarket trade as investors focus on the latest developments regarding the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union as the crucial parliamentary vote on the Brexit withdrawal agreement draws near. However, there is still no indication that the British MPs will approve the deal agreed between Prime Minister Theresa May and the EU last year. Meanwhile, a fresh set of economic data is due for later today, including UK's gross domestic product and industrial production figures.

The FTSE 100 was up 0.30% in premarket trading, while the DAX also rose 0.30% at the same time. Meanwhile, the CAC 40 was trading 0.10% in the positive territory before the opening bell. The euro was 0.27% higher against the dollar to sell for 1.1529 at 8:10 am CET, while the pound added 0.13% versus the greenback to go for 1.2761 at the same time.
