Facebook shares drop after worrying reports

Facebook Inc. shares dropped on Tuesday during an intraday trade on Wall Street as investors grew worried following reports that consumer goods company Unilever plans to withdraw its advertising from the social media giant, while the German court ruled that Facebook cannot force users to register with real names.

Facebook shares hit the lowest since last week after a report that the social network popularity among the over 55s surges while teens and young adults are ditching Zuckerberg’s company in favor of Snapchat.

Facebook’s shares dropped 1.35% to go for $174.030 at 18:46 pm CET.
