Libya resumes crude exports from eastern ports

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Wednesday that the ports in the east of the country have been reopened and the country has resumed exporting oil from Ras Lanuf, Es Sider, Zueitina and Hariga.

"Production and export operations will return to normal levels within the next few hours," the NOC stated.

Last week, Libya declared a force majeure on oil shipments from the eastern ports after rebels took control of the oil facilities in the region. Libyan authorities confirmed today that they have regained control of the ports.
