A locomotive and about 20 wagons of a freight train derailed in Russia's Bryansk region on Tuesday, Russian Railways stated.

The incident happened after the "illegal interference" of unauthorized personnel, the company noted. Following the incident, traffic in the vicinity of the derailment was suspended, but no casualties have been reported.

A day earlier, another freight train derailed in the Bryansk region after an explosive device detonated on the tracks.
