Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated on Friday that the Western countries "deliberately" provoked the conflict in Ukraine.
At a meeting with young scientists at the Russian Federal Nuclear Center, the head of state recalled his remarks made back in 2014, where he predicted the West would try to limit Russia's development. He insisted that the conflict in Ukraine was a part of that.
"I think that this was all done purposefully in order to create additional conditions to limit our economic growth," Putin underscored.
