Russia, China to continue anti-terrorism coop

Russia and China will continue their cooperation on anti-terrorism following the attack at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, TASS reported, citing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov (pictured).

"I thank the Chinese side for its condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in the Moscow region on March 22 this year, for supporting Russia's fight against terrorism, all those involved, of course, will be punished," Lavrov stated on Tuesday during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing. Meanwhile, Wang once again conveyed China's congratulations on Russian President Vladimir Putin's re-election. "I think that under the firm leadership of President Putin, the Russian people will have a bright future," he stated.

Wang shared that China will support the "stable development and revival of Russia under Putin's leadership," adding that the two countries will seek to enhance strategic cooperation on the world stage.
