Trump Media plunges 8%, drops under $30 per share

EPA-EFE/JASON SZENES

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. plunged more than 8% to fall under $30 per share for the first time since its stock market debut on March 26.

On its first trading day, the former United States President Donald Trump's social media company soared more than 50% to hit $79.38, but has been on the decline ever since. The drop was fueled, among other things, by the news that the company reported a loss of more than $58.2 million for 2023 earlier this month.

Trump Media slumped 8:16% to $29.7017 per share at 10:27 am ET.
