Former President Donald Trump is willing to undo President Joe Biden's environmental regulations on electric vehicles and wind energy if he returns to the White House, The Washington Post reported on Thursday.

The ex-president made the comments during a private meeting with top oil executives at his Mar-a-Lago residency, according to people familiar with the discussions.

During the above-mentioned meeting, Trump responded to complaints about strict environmental regulations by suggesting that executives contribute $1 billion to his campaign efforts.
