Volkswagen of America's sales surge by 31% in Q2

The Volkswagen Group announced on Tuesday that its sales in the United States branch for the second quarter of fiscal 2024, surged by 31% compared to the same period a year earlier.

The units of total vehicles that were sold reached 100,612 units, compared to 76,934 from the same period in 2023. Models Jetta Sdn and Taos registered the highest increases in sales skyrocketing 76% and 49%, respectively. Units of Jetta clocked in at 20,508 while Taos landed at 20,468.

On the other hand, Arteon and ID.4 models recorded drops in sales figures of 33% and 15%, respectively.
