A New York federal judge dismissed Former New York City mayor and ex-lawyer of 45th US President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani's Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection plea on Friday.
"Giuliani has failed to provide an accurate and complete picture of his financial affairs in the six months that this case has been pending…Forcing creditors to wait years while they are prevented from pursuing their rights for, at best, a modest distribution seems inequitable and ill-advised," Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane said.
Giuliani had filed for bankruptcy after being held liable for spreading defamatory remarks about two Georgia poll workers and was consequently fined $150 million in damages.
