Trump: We will have a deal with China

United States President Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that Washington will reach a trade deal with Beijing.

"I think we are going to make a very good deal with China," Trump said ahead of an official meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. He added that "no one can compete with" the US.

Furthermore, the president ensured that the US will "end up with a substantial number" of baseline tariffs, stressing that he does not expect to experience difficulties in reaching a trade deal with any interested party.
