North Carolina expects flooding amid Florence

North Carolina is expecting flooding in "areas that never experienced flooding before," Governor Roy Cooper stated on Saturday.

Cooper pointed out that despite the fact that the hurricane was downgraded, the situation in the field remains alarming amid inland flooding concerns.

Hurricane Florence took at least five lives, the governor confirmed. Meanwhile, the National Weather Service of Columbia, South Carolina warned the levels of Great Pee Dee River at Cheraw will reach highs last seen in 1945.
