US markets to sink in early trade with jobs report in focus

United States stock index futures pointed to a lower open on Friday, shortly before the publishing of the nonfarm payrolls jobs report. Markets are also expected to fall significantly less than in yesterday's session lows, after a report indicated that the Federal Reserve is considering a more cautious monetary policy after a potential December hike of interest rates, leading to a mixed close on Thursday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index was seen 0.69% in the red, or losing over 170 points. The Nasdaq 100 was set to decline 0.75%, while the S&P 500 was seen going down 0.66%.

The euro lost 0.09% against the dollar, to go for $1.13728 at 2:09 pm CET.
